This Returns & Exchanges Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions of The Grass Monkey Private Members Club (“TGM”, “we”, “us”, “our”). It applies to all registered members and governs how issues relating to cannabis allocations, accessories, and merchandise are handled within the private domain of the club.

By submitting a request or receiving any item through the club, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLE

1.1 The Grass Monkey operates as a Private Members Club and does not sell cannabis to the public. Any payments made represent member reimbursements for cultivation, processing, packaging, and club services.

1.2 Due to the nature of cannabis and applicable legal, health, and hygiene considerations, returns are strictly limited and assessed on a case-by-case basis.

2. CANNABIS PRODUCTS — NO RETURNS

2.1 Cannabis products are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange once allocated to a member.

2.2 This policy exists to protect member safety, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure legal compliance within the private club environment.

2.3 Members are encouraged to review strain information, potency ranges, and quantities carefully before submitting a request.

3. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT CANNABIS ALLOCATIONS

3.1 If a member believes a cannabis allocation is defective or incorrect, the issue must be reported within 48 hours of collection or delivery.

3.2 Reports must be submitted via email to support@thegrassmonkey.co.za and include:

  • Membership number

  • Order or allocation reference number

  • Clear photographic and/or video evidence of the issue

3.3 The product must remain substantially unused and in its original packaging for assessment purposes.

3.4 TGM will review the claim and, at its sole discretion, may:

  • Replace the affected allocation, or

  • Offer an alternative allocation of equivalent value

3.5 No cash refunds are issued for cannabis-related allocations under any circumstances.

4. ACCESSORIES & MERCHANDISE (NON-CANNABIS ITEMS)

4.1 Accessories and merchandise may be returned within 7 days of receipt, provided that:

  • The item is unused

  • The item is unopened and sealed

  • The item is in its original condition and packaging

4.2 Proof of membership and allocation confirmation must be provided.

4.3 Return shipping or delivery costs for non-cannabis items are the responsibility of the member, unless the item was supplied incorrectly or is defective.

4.4 Approved returns may result in:

  • A replacement item, or

  • A reimbursement credit applied to the member’s account

5. ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Cannabis in any form

  • Opened or used accessories

  • Items damaged due to misuse or negligence

  • Items returned outside the specified return period

6. PROCESSING TIME

6.1 Approved return or replacement requests are processed during normal business hours.

6.2 Assessment and resolution timelines may vary depending on the nature of the request and product availability.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

7.1 TGM is not responsible for:

  • Personal preferences relating to strain effects, flavour, or potency

  • Reactions or dissatisfaction arising from lawful personal use

  • Damage or loss occurring after products leave club custody

7.2 All cannabis use is undertaken at the member’s own risk and discretion.

8. POLICY UPDATES

TGM reserves the right to amend this Returns & Exchanges Policy at any time. Changes will be published on the website and take effect immediately. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
